Design and manufacturing of a computer system consist of different levels with various scales. It begins from the lowest scale using electronic modules, electronic circuits and interface systems. At the highest scale, these components could be connected to each other using a network platform to make a network-based computer systems.
Therefore, there is a broad range of activities in Computer Systems Architecture group with certain principles and guidelines for the design, simulation, manufacture and test.
Teaching these principles in undergraduate courses and research in related area in graduate program is the main purpose of Computer Systems Architecture group.
