This faculty has several research laboratories including:
Intelligent information processing
The laboratory’s members are doing research on Distributed intelligent systems, image-based human-computer interaction, search engines, semantic data mining, and computational intelligence.
Networks and Multimedia systems
Members of Networks and Multimedia Systems laboratory perform research in different aspects of computer and communications networks and multimedia systems. The research area contains wired and 4G/5G wireless networks, multimedia transmission over networks, and network optimization.
The aim of this research group is to improve the performance of parallel systems through approaches such as processor virtualizations, power-aware and thermal-aware mapping of applications on many-core system. The applications spans image and video processing and special purpose signal processing applications.
